Feed your skin...

Despite being a makeup artist and knowing all the pro tricks to getting flawless foundation I still advise clients to take the very best care of their skin from within. Exercise, lifestyle choices, geographical location, diet, quality of sleep, skincare routine, product choices and of course genetics all play a huge part in the condition of your skin but, as the title suggests, diet is the one I'm focusing on in this post.


What you eat and drink plays a HUGE role in how your skin (and hair) is looking as gut health and overall hydration is truly the key to getting that lit from within, goddess glow.






The skin needs a variety of nutrients including Vitamin c, Vitamin, Zinc, Omega 3, Beta carotene. As such, foods that are rich ion these nutrients and positively impact your skin are avocados, nuts, seeds, eggs, fatty fish like salmon and mackerel, sweet potato, broccoli and leafy greens.


Its common sense.... the healthier your skin is the less products you need to use which saves on application time and obviously money!


TOP TIPS FOR GREAT SKIN:

MOVE: Exercise daily

HYDRATE: Drink lots of water and avoid diaretics

SKIN FOODS: Include some of those I listed above in your daily diet

BUY GOOD QUALITY PRODUCTS: Ones that don't contain harmful chemicals

DONT SMOKE

REDUCE ALCOHOL INTAKE

GET ENOUGH SLEEP
